showcase local creatives and connect them with community art lovers, art
collectors, art buyers seeking artists and makers.

filter by the type of work you’re seeking. You’ll find samples of their
work, a description of what drives them to create and links to check out
their website or social media. Use the roster to discover the
incredible talent living right here in our community. Please note: the
artist roster is a free resource directory to find artists. Any local
artist can add their information. The artists on the roster are not
endorsed or represented by International Gallery Creative Arts.
In
order to foster a thriving art gallery where artists can make a
living doing their
work, Igcarts Arts believes in the importance of artists. Too often,
creatives are asked to provide time, labor,
materials, or finished work for inventory to be documented for artsy and
artnet through our gallery and records keeping purposes to drive sales

Our Artist's Roster
Adekusibe Odunfa was born in Lagos on May 19th, 1973. Adekusibe is an indigene of Imala in Ogun State. He attended the Abina Primary School, Abina, Surulere, Lagos (First School Leaving Certificate) 1980-1985 and the Ansar Ud – Deen Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos (WAEC/GCE “O Level”) 1985 – 1991. He subsequently graduated with a degree in Fine Art with a specialisation in painting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1998.
He has had brief stints working at Carat Communications Limited, Lagos (2003), Hunters Publicity, Lagos (Creative Department) 1992 -1993. Adekusibe worked as an intern at M2DC in Ikeja, coordinator at Colours of Hope, curator Tents gallery, creative director OneTouch Concepts (2001 -2006).
Adekusibe is an accomplished painter known for his durbars, female figures and body forms, faces and his unconventional use of materials. He is proficient in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, photography, graphic design and carnival art (new media). He loves experimenting with pigments on distinct surfaces, plays with charcoal on canvas, oil on lace and oil on wood and other printable materials.
He has participated in several exhibitions from 1998 till date. Adekusibe has held three solos exhibitions and has participated in over twenty-two group exhibitions in Nigeria and Abroad. He has featured in several public art installations, including; The Lagos State Carnival (Floats and Effigies) 2010 – till date, The Calabar Carnival (Floats) 2013, The Eyo Festival (Effigies) 2010 – 2011 and The National Sports Festival Opening Ceremony held in Lagos State (Floats) 2012.
Adekusibe loves art and art development. He is not just a creator of artworks but also an ardent collector of over 400 unique artworks ranging from paintings, sculptures, metal works, prints, etc. in his collection.
