You’ll find samples of their work, a description of what drives them to create and links to check out their website or social media. Use the roster to discover the incredible talent living right here in our community. Please note: the artist roster is a free resource directory to find artists. Any local artist can add their information. The artists on the roster are not endorsed or represented by 
International Gallery Creative Arts. 

In order to foster a thriving art gallery where artists can make a living doing 
their work, Igcarts  Arts believes in the importance of artists. Too often, creatives are asked to provide time, labor, materials, or finished work for inventory to be documented for artsy and artnet through our gallery and records keeping purposes to drive sales while in partnership. 

  Olusola David Ayibiowu

  Born on January 24, 1974.

Olusola David, Ayibiowu is a contemporary Nigerian Artist. Visual Arts, Painter, Songwriter, Record Label,
Author, Editor, Apple of God Eye and covenant child of God. Also his the President/Chairman
Creative Arts Solution Foundation. He completed his graduation in Yaba College of Technology 
2000-2003 and later proceeded to the Department of Creative Arts at the University of Lagos in
2007-2009, as he was interested in Visual art, he started taking part in group art exhibitions as at the 
level of an apprentice under late A. Shyngle. Later on, he launched his first solo exhibition
theme: Vision on 30th Nov-Dec 6th 2007 at the National Gallery of Art, Lagos. 
 
Early Life 
Born on (Jan 24, 1974) Heals from Lagos State (Agbowa Ikosi). 
He started his career at Cathedral PrySch 1982-1988. Boy's Academy Secondary Sch, 
Lagos island, Yaba College of Technology, University of Lagos. 
Ayibiowu, initially as a studio Artist known as Solart Studios Ent and Art
Creative Solutions but Later launched Creative Arts Solution Foundation of which is the President/Chairman. The foundation is a Non-Governmental Foundation formed on Dec 10, 2012. It
aims to encourage young people as well as old ones to grow in art and another professional field, thereby giving opportunities to gain skills, in vocational works while increasing public
awareness and its benefits to society. Later on, he also shows the use of photography and its originality as it breaks free of conventional unities of body, space and time and contributes skillfully to
edits in the video, computer engineer, music as well as dance-drama through the presentation in events and occasion. He formed International Gallery Creative Arts on 19th day January, 2018 in
collaboration with Creative Arts Solution Foundation. 
He was listed on Artprice through which had several online auctions in 2022.

Ade Odunfa  

Born on May 9, 1973

Adeodunfa is an artist who works in a variet of media, with a subtle minimalistic approach, He makes works that can be seen as portraits. Sometimes
they appear almost monochromatic, at other times, they seem typical with raw colourful pigments. He loves to paint on unusual textured surfaces like lace
material, belt, etc. and they create unusual effects too.
Zaria (norther part of Nigeria), but his main passion is trying new concepts on new surfaces and new projects.

He is the Founder of ‘Faces and Phases’, a non profitable art initiative that helps young artist network to exhibit their creativity to a larger audience.
 
 
Early Life:  

Adekusibe Odunfa was born in Lagos on May 19th, 1973.  Adekusibe is an indigene of Imala in Ogun State. He attended the Abina Primary School, Abina, Surulere, Lagos (First School Leaving Certificate) 1980-1985 and the Ansar Ud – Deen Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos (WAEC/GCE “O Level”) 1985 – 1991.  He subsequently graduated with a degree in Fine Art with a specialisation in painting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1998.

He has had brief stints working at Carat Communications Limited, Lagos (2003), Hunters Publicity, Lagos (Creative Department) 1992 -1993.  Adekusibe worked as an intern at M2DC in Ikeja, coordinator at Colours of Hope, curator Tents gallery, creative director OneTouch Concepts (2001 -2006).

Adekusibe is an accomplished painter known for his durbars, female figures and body forms, faces and his unconventional use of materials. He is proficient in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, photography, graphic design and carnival art (new media). He loves experimenting with pigments on distinct surfaces, plays with charcoal on canvas, oil on lace and oil on wood and other printable materials.

He has participated in several exhibitions from 1998 till date. Adekusibe has held three solos exhibitions and has participated in over twenty-two group exhibitions in Nigeria and Abroad. He has featured in several public art installations, including; The Lagos State Carnival (Floats and Effigies) 2010 – till date, The Calabar Carnival (Floats) 2013, The Eyo Festival (Effigies) 2010 – 2011 and The National Sports Festival Opening Ceremony held in Lagos State (Floats) 2012.

Adekusibe loves art and art development. He is not just a creator of artworks but also an ardent collector of over 400 unique artworks ranging from paintings, sculptures, metal works, prints, etc. in his collection.

 

Fashakin Michael. 
Born on September 23, 1979



Fashakin Michael, A Nigerian Artist whose works span across different genres of arts. He is a
painter printmaker, teacher, a lover of music and player of some musical instruments, a social
commentator and an art educator. 
 
Early Life:
Fashakin Michael was born in Surulere of Lagos State, Nigeria to a family of printers where the father was a Cord/Sord machine operator
and his mother worked in the packaging section of a notable printing press in Mushin, Lagos. He is the second child in the family of seven
(7) Mike had his primary and secondary school education in Elizabeth Fowler and Community High School respectively both in Surulere
area of Lagos but later moved to Igbogila, Yewa North Local Government of Ogun state for more studies. His zeal to do art began at the
tender age of seven as he was fond of drawing and making collages from pieces of print documents (papers) with maximum support
coming from his parents, Mike had the supply of all available printing inks and paper he wanted for his childhood arts. His admission into
the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Lagos to study art was a dream come true as he enjoyed the tutelage from the best hands of
the Nigerian Visual Art industry where he was awarded National Diploma in General Arts and Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts
(Painting). 
 
Contribution:
Fashakin Michael as a teacher of drawing, Visual art/ Cultural and Creative Arts, Printmaking, painting and decorating has contributed his
quota to the development of arts in Nigeria where he has taught many younger generations in various secondary schools in Lagos and
Ogun States, he served as an adjunct lecturer at the Yaba College of Technology before he left for further studies.He is the current
General Secretary of the Society of Nigerian Artists- Lagos chapter, the regulatory body of arts in Nigeria and has served as member of
jury for many exhibitions and competitions on art. He is the recipient of the Bruce Onobrakpeya award for printmaking and many other all
expense paid art workshops. He has participated in well over 50 group exhibitions
in Nigeria and abroad
